Shadowside

When Blake, returns to their hometown to meet their foster brother, they end up transported to the "Shadowside." Trapped on the flipside of their normal life Blake struggles to survive in a world where imagination and magic merge into a dangerous new reality. Will they be able to find a way back to the place they belong?
These are the opening scenes for my proposed game Shadowside. They are presented in the style of a film script.

El, a horned boy who can talk to spirits, and Juniper, a kind but headstrong wood nymph, set out together to find El's missing father. Their first stop is the city of Rhyngald, the first human settlement either of them has been to.
However, when they find that the city is under a curse, El will have to decide whom he'll help, why, and what it means to truly be a hero.
